Eleanor Pries is adjunct faculty at the University of California, Berkeley's College of Environmental Design. Pries teaches architecture design studio related to building concepts, performance, and material systems.

The world is a great teacher — its streets, markets, slender alleys, waterfronts, landscapes — it is a continual inspiration and guide.  

Youth Art Exchange (YAX) is a non-profit in San Francisco providing free art and design classes to public high school students which are taught by local and emerging professional artists. Eleanor Pries has served as advisory board chair of the Youth Art Exchange since 2015.
